Source of NT Greenhouse Gas Emissions
The major source of the Northern Territory's emissions is the energy sector, including stationary energy and transport, contributing 37% of the NT's emissions. In 2005, savanna burning contributed 35% of the Northern Territory's greenhouse gas emissions.
