Project name: To create a Preschool environmental awareness garden and learning area.
Description: The parents and children will help create a garden area to use to learn about growing plants and the needs of plants. Children will be involved in all steps of creating this garden, planning, preparing, planting and nurturing and will learn about sustainability, and how we can save water in Alice Springs by creating arid lands gardens

Description: This project will transform a number of grassed areas that require a lot of water into native, arid gardens - desert rivers, sand country, etc. to reduce water use in the school.

Description: A productive arid zone garden will be established to demonstrate horticultural processes including propagation and arid environment water management (irrigation installation and mulching).

Description: The school will establish plantings of tropical woodland species in the school grounds and the childrens research used to develop a library resource documenting their unique features and known uses.

Project name: The Berry Happy Frog Sanctuary and Magical Garden
Description: Students and staff will develop a habitat suitable to support native frogs and to protect them from the impact of cane toads by building a 3.5m by 7.5m frog landscaped enclosure including a pond and waterfall.

Description: A garden will be planted that is designed to demonstrate seasonality in the tropical savannah and the local Aboriginal calendar with flowering and fruiting native plants grouped according to seasonal displays.

Description: The grant will be used to develop an area within the school boundary, adjacent to the "Tall Timbers" Forestry project as an amphitheatre for use as an outdoor classroom/meeting place for the many visitors from other remote schools that come each year for educational exchange weeks.
