2005-06 Individual Project Grants

In 2005-06 funding under this program was provided for a wide range of projects addressing natural resource management issues (such as biodiversity, weed and feral animal management programs).

Please note: in 2006, the focus of the program has changed and we are now targeting projects that will:
  • provide opportunities for the NT Community to develop a better awareness and understanding of recent developments in environmental management;
  • help the community become wiser at efficiently using our non-renewable resources, re-using waste products and reduce our greenhouse gas emissions;
  • promote improvement in current management practices, technologies and procedures; and
  • improve the availability of more environmentally sensitive and resource efficient urban design, products and services.

Nine categories of projects were funded in 2005-06:

Please note that the following four categories are not relevant to the 2006-07 Program:

In 2005-06, fifty-one applications were received for Individual Project Grants. Twenty-five were successful with a total of $252 000 being allocated to this component. The successful applications are listed by key issue.
