Quick Response Scheme
Projects
The Quick Response Scheme offers up to $1,500 to support arts projects that cannot be applied to within the project rounds due to their time critical nature. Professional Development is also supported through the Quick Response Scheme as it is not available through the project rounds.
Support is also available through the Regional Arts Fund which is prioritised for applicants from remote, very remote or isolated areas. The Regional Arts Fund (RAF) is an Australian Government initiative managed and delivered in the Northern Territory through the Arts Grants Program. [ more ]
Funding under this scheme must be matched by 50% of support from other sources. This support may include in-kind.
Objectives
- Expression of Northern Territory identity through arts and culture;
- Provision of development opportunities for Territory artists or arts workers;
- Enhanced community engagement with Territory arts practice; and
- Employment of Territory artists.
Eligibility
Individuals, groups or organisations.
Assessment Criteria
You must be able to demonstrate why the activity is considered time critical.
- Artistic merit.
- Clear plan and proposed outcomes.
- Evidence of employment or income generation.
- Benefits for Territory artists or arts workers.
- Evidence of community and arts sector support.
- Accurately costed and viable budget.

Projects involving Indigenous artists, content or community involvement, must include evidence of appropriate consultation, agreement or support.
Acknowledgement
Recipients of all grants through the NT Arts Grants Program must acknowledge Northern Territory Government support. Recipients of a grant through the Australian Government's Regional Arts Fund must also acknowledge the Australian Government. Funding Limit
Up to $1,500
Applicants seeking support for project activities through the Quick Response Scheme can only receive support towards one project grant per financial year.

Ongoing.
Applications must be received by Arts NT before the activity commences. Assessment can take up to 15 working days. Your activity can commence during the assessment period; however you must consider that a decision may be made after the activity has occurred.
