The Arts Grants Guidelines provide general information about the Northern Territory Arts Grants Program and information to assist you in preparing an application to the Program. All applicants are required to read the Guidelines before writing an application.
There is specific funding dedicated to the support of Indigenous arts projects and artists under the Northern Territory's Indigenous Arts Strategy: Building Strong Arts Business.
Peer assessment is fundamental to the Arts Grants Program. The Arts Grants Board represents community and art form interests, and is appointed by the Minister for Arts and Museums and meets twice a year to assess the March and October Rounds. Specialist Panels including the assessment panels for the Public Art Grants, Remote Festivals Fund and Key Arts Organisations assessment process are drawn from the Northern Territory Register of Peers and other sources.
