Her Honour, the Administrator of the Northern Territory, the Hon. Sally Thomas AM issued a notice appointing 10am of Tuesday 23 October 2012 for holding the first session of the 12th Legislative Assembly.
Furthermore, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly has release the sittings dates for the remainder of 2012 as per below.

Sitting Time
The Assembly commences at 10am on sitting days unless otherwise advised
by the Speaker.
Government Business
''Government Business' means any business introduced by a Minister. The Chief Minister, or another Minister acting on his/her behalf, may arrange the order of Government Business Notices and Orders of the Day on the Notice Paper as he/she thinks fit. Subject to Standing Order 90, Government Business shall, on each sitting day, have precedence over General Business.
General Business
''General Business' is non-government business and/or Private Members' business. Standing Order 90 (Routine of Business) provides that General Business shall be conducted on Wednesdays of sitting weeks between 5.30 and 9.00pm.
