Council of Territory Co-operation
How We Started
The Council of Territory Co-operation was created as a Sessional Committee in response to the Parliamentary Agreement between the Hon Paul Henderson MLA, Chief Minister of the Northern Territory and Mr Gerry Wood MLA, dated 14 August 2009.
Who We Are
The Council of Territory Co-operation is a Sessional Committee of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly. See our CTC Fact Sheet to find out more about our Committee and its members.
What We Do
Our Committee inquires into and reports on issues that are important to the public. Our Committee also has self referencing powers, which means we can examine any issues facing the Territory without direction from the Parliament. So far we have used our self-referencing powers to inquire into the 2009 power shortages in the NT, crime reporting statistics and child protection reforms. See our reports here.

Innovation, Development and Trade Sub-committee
We’ve also formed the Innovation, Development and Trade Sub-committee to investigate trade and industrial development opportunities for the Territory’s future.
