Portrait of a Senior Territorian Art Award and Exhibition – 7 – 28 October 2009

The Northern Territory Government acknowledges the significant and valuable contribution that senior Territorians make to our community with the ‘Portrait of a Senior Territorian Art Award’. The exhibition highlights the achievements of older Territorians and encourages excellence in artistic expression.

An Acquisition Award of $5,000 is being offered for the winning original portrait of one or more senior Territorians. A People’s Choice Award of $1,000 is also being offered for the artwork that receives the highest number of votes from the public.

Entries are invited from a broad cross-section of the Territory community, including senior Territorians. Entry is free. Please see Terms and Conditions on Entry Form. Artists can be of any age, whilst the subject of their portrait must be sixty years of age and over.
