Privileges Committee
The Committee of Privileges is charged to inquire into and report on complaints of breach of Parliamentary privilege, which may be referred to it by resolution of the Assembly. These matters relate to any action which contravenes the rules of the Parliament, as determined by Standing Orders, or actions by a person or organisation which are disrespectful to the Parliament. This Committee usually only convenes when it has a matter of privilege to consider.
