DEMOCRACY SHOWCASE – An information expo and PD event for teachers – WEDNESDAY 20 AUGUST 2014 - 2 – 6PM
Parliamentary Education Services will be hosting an expo type event for the teaching of civics, governance and democracy for teachers, lecturers and community educators. It will be held in the Main Hall at Parliament House where a number of organisations that provide educational programs and resources linked to the teaching civic and legal subjects across all age groups will be promoting their services. These organisations include:
Parliamentary Education Services / The Supreme Court / The NT and Australian Electoral Commissions / Government House / Darwin City Council / Litchfield Council / NT Legal Aid / Darwin Community Legal Service / NT Library / Geography and History Teachers Association of the NT.
The event is FREE, no bookings are required, and the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly is offering an iPad Air as a door prize.
