Media Accreditation
All journalists wishing to cover parliamentary sittings require accreditation from the Speaker. Individuals and/or organisations should write to the Speaker seeking accreditation. This can be done by e-mail: la.speaker@nt.gov.au or by
facsimile 08 8981 3284. See also accreditation request form below.
Media accreditation is granted subject to media representatives reading, understanding and abiding by the Speaker’s Determination dealing with media coverage in Parliament House.

Following accreditation being approved by the Speaker, you must contact the Director of Security to make arrangements for access to Parliament House.

Media Coverage of Parliamentary Education Activities
Please note that impromptu media coverage of Parliamentary Education activities involving school students is not possible. Any coverage involving school children requires parental consent and therefore involves considerable lead time. Please liaise with the Parliamentary Relations and Education Unit on telephone 8946 1430 or e-mail caroline.cavanagh@nt.gov.au
