Variation of Conditions of a Development Permit

The owner of land to which a development permit relates, or a person authorised by the owner, may apply to the consent authority for a variation of a condition of the development permit before the expiry of the development permit.

The Planning Act limits applications for a variation of a development permit to changes of a minor nature. Any changes to a development permit that do not fit the criteria specified by the Act will require a full development application in relation to the change.
