Future Tennant Planning Forum

The Tennant Creek Planning for The Future Forum held on 10 December 2009 provided the community with the opportunity to participate in informed debate on issues impacting on the future use and development of land in the town of Tennant Creek.

The forum provided the community with:

• information on the current zoning regime of the NT Planning Scheme;
• information on land release, urban enhancement and Capital Works projects; and
• the opportunity to provide feedback and ideas on issues associated with future planning for Tennant Creek.

The forum focussed on issues relevant to the growth of Tennant Creek, particularly residential development.
