Johnston

Johnston is the next suburb to be developed in Palmerston East. The Department of Planning and Infrastructure has obtained development approval for Stage One of the suburb with the development rights for the construction of Stages A and B to be auctioned, as two Crown leases in October 2009. Prequalification for the auction was required by developers to determine eligibility and this process was closed in September 2009.

Under the Territory Government’s affordable housing strategy, 15% of residential lots in Johnston will be set aside for affordable and community housing.

Housing lots in the first stage of Johnston will be available for sale off the plan in November. Members of the public are invited to register their interest in purchasing off the plan by filling in the details below.
