Expressions of Interest: Bellamack Residential Subdivision
The Northern Territory Government is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced individuals or corporations to create a high quality residential subdivisional development with the inclusion of affordable housing, and superior urban design and amenity that builds on the natural features of the site by conserving existing natural vegetation and includes Water Sensitive Urban Design principles in the design. Bellamack (Lot 6, Town of Palmerston) is the next suburb to be developed in Palmerston. The City of Palmerston has been the foundation of suburban Darwin growth in the past 15 years. The City is 21kms (or 15 minutes by car) south of the Territory's capital, Darwin. It has a population of approximately 25,000 people.
The Territory is releasing Bellamack by subdividing Lot 6 into three (3) development leases - two (2) residential lease areas (Areas A and B) and one commercial/residential lease for the development of the Neighbourhood Village (Area C).
