Community Benefit Committee
A Community Benefit Committee, comprising members of key Government Departments and independent community representatives, appointed by the Minister for Racing, Gaming and Licensing, considers all applications for funding and makes recommendations to the Minister. The Committee is supported by a Community Benefit Secretariat located in the Community & Justice Policy Division of the Department of Justice.
Club Contributions to Community
The purpose of community contributions are to ensure that a reasonable level of electronic gaming machine revenue is returned to the general community from Club’s operating gaming machines.
To assist Clubs in providing information about their community contributions, a reporting statement proforma is available to download. The Guidelines are designed to assist the completion of the proforma.
Reporting occurs twice a year and will cover periods January to June and July to December.
