Youth Justice: A Crime Prevention Forum

Introduction:
Youth Justice: A Crime Prevention Forum 2005 was a meeting of Regional and Indigenous Crime Prevention Councils, local crime prevention committees, government agencies and community organisations.
It was hosted by the Office of Crime Prevention, Department of Justice, Northern Territory Police, Fire & Emergency Services and the Darwin Regional Crime Prevention Council.
The purpose of the Forum was to focus on the broad theme of Youth Justice. Workshops and presentations addressed legislative and government initiatives, community responses and relevant statistics on youth justice.
The Forum was officially opened by the Hon Dr Peter Toyne, Minister for Justice.
