Court Transcripts

Magistrates Court transcript can be prepared upon request at the rate of:

• $9.46 per page for a hard copy; or
• $8.16 per page for an electronic copy.

Transcript may take 10 working days to prepare and delays may be experienced due to the volume of requests at a given time.

On 28 August 2012 the Chief Magistrate issued a Practice Direction 23 of 2012 concerning application for transcript in the Magistrates Court.  All applicants are now required to complete the forms:

1.Application for Transcript - Records of Depositions Act; and

2.The interactive Transcript Request Form.

Both forms should be sent to the fax number or email address on the interactive Transcript Request form.  Incomplete requests for transcript will be returned to applicants.
