Restrictions on Drinking by Region
The Department of Justice introduced alcohol restrictions in public areas, including parks and recreational areas, throughout regional towns and city centres during 2007 and 2008. Generally, public drinking restrictions form part of a community Alcohol Management Plan that incorporates alcohol supply, demand and harm reduction measures.
