McLean v R 16 June 2005
The applicant was found guilty by a Darwin Supreme Court jury of two counts of murder and sentenced to concurrent terms of imprisonment for life.
The applicant applied for leave to appeal against the findings of guilt on the grounds that they were unreasonable and could not be supported having regard to the evidence.
The applications were opposed by the Crown.
The appeal had not been listed for hearing as at 30 June 2005.
