Requests for Review

A person can ask for a decision made by a treating psychiatrist, or by the Tribunal, to be reviewed if they do not agree with it.

Who may request a review?
The person who is subject to the decision, their representative, or someone with a genuine interest and concern for the person.

How can a request for review be made?
Either directly to the Tribunal, verbally or in writing, or through a legal representative.

How is the review conducted?
At a new hearing. With administrative review, each hearing is conducted independently and fresh evidence is heard
