Rainchecks

Sometimes when a store is advertising a sale the promotional material may state that "no rainchecks" apply. This means that when the sale items are all sold out there is no means of obtaining the item, specifically at a customer's request and selling it at the same sale price.
If a "raincheck" applies to an item, it means you can purchase the item at a later date for the advertised price. The store will issue a raincheck voucher for this purchase.
