October Business Month - WorkShops

The Anti-Discrimination Commission if offering a workshop as part of the October Business Month "Advance your Business Opportunities" events.

There are four Key Topic areas with one of them being 'Recruitment and Retention'. The ADC, in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce, is offering a workshop under this section.

'Catch and Keep with Reward and Respect' is a free two hour workshop to be held on Tuesday 14 October from 5.00-7.00 PM at the Chamber of Commerce premises.

'Increase productivity, staff morale and reduce turnover. Spend less time dealing with complaints and more time on your business. Understand the reasonable steps taken to create a discrimination and harassment free workplace'.

The Northern Territory Anti-Discrimination Commission helps people like Jane, Bob and Arthur. It also helps people like Malcolm and Robert. The NT Anti-Discrimination Commission is an independent, impartial body that investigates and helps resolve complaints about discrimination and harassment.

The Northern Territory Anti-Discrimination Commission also provides training and education about Anti-Discrimination and Diversity policies to businesses, government departments, schools and individuals.
