Moving Beyond the Restrictions: The Evaluation of the Alice Springs
Alcohol Management Plan
Menzies School of Health Research has completed an independent evaluation of alcohol measures in Alice Springs. In addition to showing an 18% reduction in alcohol sales since the introduction of the alcohol management plan and supply restrictions, the report shows improvements in relation to alcohol related assault numbers and hospital admissions.
