Wangi Falls Centre
Overview
The Department of Infrastructure on behalf of the Department of Natural Resources, Environment, The Arts and Sport, is project managing the construction of a new centre at Wangi Falls, in Litchfield National Park.

Stage 1 includes:
- Sewerage treatment plant
- Loading bay area
- New generator building
- Gas tank enclosure
Stage 2 includes:
- An enclosed area to hold Indigenous art workshops/ demonstrations and to sell local art
- Souvenir shop
- Inside dining area to accommodate 20 people
- Outside dining area to accommodate 88 people
- Air-conditioned campsite office and storage space
- Kitchen
- Staff toilets
- Pathways to campground and Wangi Falls
- Installation of solar power and back-up gas generator
- Associated services (power, water, drainage)

Completion of works
- Stage 1 scheduled for completion June 2012
- Stage 2 scheduled for completion January 2013
