Tiger Brennan Drive Open Day
The Tiger Brennan Drive Open Day was held on Saturday 17 October to give the public an opportunity to see the scale of the work that is underway. Guided bus tours were available to see work on the new bridges in the vicinity of the Stuart Highway as well as the 7.5km of new roadway being constructed between Palmerston and Berrimah.
Visitors had the chance to win a ride in a helicopter over the project or in one of the heavy dump trucks that can be seen at work on the site. The day was well attended and was a positive time for the public as well as the project staff.
