The Construction Division is a Government Business Division of the Department of Infrastructure and the leading Northern Territory Government provider of infrastructure planning, construction and maintenance.  It also plays a lead role in disaster management.

The division provides a service delivering capital works, minor new works and repairs and maintenance for a range of Northern Territory Government clients.

Work is carried out across the Northern Territory by private contractors and the division has offices in all major regional centres where staff manage this process.

Staff of the Construction Division are employed in a diverse range of professional, technical and administrative positions. The Government Business Division operates on a fee for service basis and manages the projects from design stage, through construction and supervising the maintenance of the completed product.
