Vacation Employment
Vacation Employment provides full time university students with the opportunity of gaining paid work experience during university holiday breaks. The Program provides students with paid short term work placements and an introduction to the civil construction industry.A variety of positions are available across the department, and offer students the ability to develop a range of skills and to participate on major DoI or Territory projects in a supportive environment.
Vacation Employment Opportunities are offered twice a year:
- Mid semester break from June to July
- End of year breaks from October to February
Anyone studying a fulltime degree in a discipline relevant to the functions of DoI can apply.
