Services provided by Sustainability Unit

Building energy audits

Best practice energy management requires each facility to be energy audited every 3 - 5 years.  Audits will be allocated to NT Government assets by Sustainability Unit according to client agency commitment to energy management, asset size, audit history and other relevant factors such as lease term. Audits generally uncover savings ranging from 10% - 30% of a facility's annual energy bill.

Projects, technical investigations and funding applications

Sustainability Unit can investigate energy saving ideas on behalf of Government agencies, assist with cost effectiveness calculations for potential projects and assist in the development of project briefs and funding applications.
