Nurse 4 - Remote Area Nurse ($77 107 - $82 839)

The Health Centre teams range in size from 2 to 11 nurses, using a collaborative approach to deliver health services which reflect an integrated Primary Health Care context of educational, promotional and preventative activities.
An induction program will be available on commencement of employment and includes access to Professional Development opportunities relevant to remote area practice. Nurses signing contracts for 2 years or more will be offered the opportunity to obtain a Graduate Certificate in Remote Health Practice if they wish. Applicants must have a genuine interest in Indigenous Health with a focus on Primary Health Care and must be highly motivated, mature, flexible and adaptable, and able and willing to work closely with Aboriginal staff in the remote health setting.
