Re-enter the Workforce

If you have had a break in practice of more than five years you may need to complete a re-entry (supervised practice) program. Department of Health and Community Services (DHCS) supports nurses seeking clinical placement to regain competencies required for full registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of the Northern Territory. Provisional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of the Northern Territory must be obtained prior to commencing the re-entry program.

The re-entry program is flexible and can be tailored to suit your individual needs with opportunities for ongoing employment. The scheme offers 75% of a base level EN or RN salary for the duration of the three month program and support from dedicated Clinical Nurse Educators.
