Anglicare Top End
Darwin Medium Term Youth Accommodation & Advocacy Service.
The Medium Term Accommodation Program provides supported accommodation
to young people aged 15-19, including young couples and families.
It provides outreach support, advocacy, emergency financial assistance
(through Emergency Relief Program), community education and information
and referral assistance.

Anglicare Youth Housing Program: Palmerston & Rural (AYHP:PR)
The program provides for crisis/transitional accommodation and support
needs of homeless young people (15 - 19 years) or those at risk
of homelessness in the Palmerston and rural area. Services include
outreach support, inter-agency case management and a number of small-scale
initiatives. The program will work in conjunction with a research
project, funded by Territory Housing, to document the new initiatives.

Bakhita Centre - St Vincent de Paul
The Bakhita Centre provides supported accommodation for homeless
men over the age of 18 years. Services include day support, outreach,
advocacy and information. Clients have the opportunity to plan for
their future through case management and for personal development
through day activities. They may also be assisted to carry out voluntary
work and to obtain casual and permanent paid employment.

The Community Placement Program predominantly provides medium to
long term supported accommodation for young people aged 15-19 years.
The service links young people who are homeless or at risk with
households looking to take on a boarder. Clients receive financial

Coral House
Supported accommodation, day support, advocacy, information and
referral services for Vietnam Veterans. Supported accommodation
is also provided to homeless single men over 18 years of age, if
they are rated compatible by the Vietnam Veterans Counselling Service.

Crisis Care and Resource Centre (Christian Outreach Centre)
The Christian Outreach Centre provides short-term supported accommodation
to families and single women over 18 who are in crisis and/or homeless.
The service provides referral and outreach support. Accommodation
is also provided to disadvantaged children from remote areas, renal
patients, hospital warrants and remote Territorians.
A part-time Children's Case Manager provides case management to
accompanying children of families attending the centre using early
intervention/prevention practices through educational and developmental
work and counselling for parents and parenting skills training are
also be provided.

The service predominantly provides crisis/short-term supported accommodation
to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and women with children

Ruby Gaea is a community based and managed service offering comprehensive

Alice Springs Youth Accommodation Support Service (ASYASS)
Multiple coordinated services including referral, supported accommodation
and counselling for 15 - 24 year olds. Advocacy according to areas
of need eg: care and protection, housing, income, legal issues,
education, employment and health. An early intervention transitional
program to allow young women who are pregnant or with their first
baby, access to safe affordable housing, parenting support and education
Funding is also received from Job Placement Employment and Training
(JPET) and the Emergency Relief Program, which are complimentary
to SAAP.
