Catherine Booth House (Salvation Army)
Crisis/short-term accommodation for single women aged 18 years and over who do not have accompanying children. Outreach support, information, referral and advocacy services are also offered.

Women with Children

Darwin Aboriginal and Islander Women's Shelter (DAIWS)
The service predominantly provides crisis/short-term supported accommodation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and women with children who are homeless or escaping domestic/family violence. The service also provides information and referral services.

Dawn House Women's Refuge (A Children and Women's Service)
Dawn House provides supported accommodation, advocacy, referral, counselling and outreach support to women and women with children escaping domestic violence. Other services include education/promotion of a violence free society. Telephone: 8945 1388

YWCA Palmerston Family Crisis & Accommodation Support Service
An integrated service that provides supported accommodation to families in the Darwin and Palmerston region. The service offers outreach support, advocacy, referral and support for accompanying children.

Towards Independence - Top End (Salvation Army)
Accommodation and support to help families move to independence. The service provides outreach support, case management, living skills training and educative workshops.

Palmerston Community Accommodation (Somerville)
Medium/long term supported accommodation for women, women with children, and families in crisis. The service also provides outreach support, counselling, transport, budgeting assistance, emergency relief, information and referral. Telephone: 8932 6111

Council for Aboriginal Alcohol Programs (CAAPS)
A community based outreach and referral project to reduce the incidence of homelessness for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in the Darwin/Palmerston area. The primary target group is Indigenous itinerants. Telephone: 8922 4800

Ozanam House (St Vincent de Paul)
Ozanam House provides a meal service and ablution facilities that are open to families as well as outreach services and a day centre providing, educational opportunities, case management, social and recreation programs, and financial planning. The service can include accommodation brokerage integrated with crisis accommodation provided by the Bakhita Centre.

Bakhita Centre (St Vincent de Paul)
The Bakhita Centre provides supported accommodation for homeless men 18 years and over. Services include day support, outreach, advocacy and information. Clients have the opportunity to plan for their future through case management and personal development.

Coral House (Vietnam Veteran's Service)
Supported accommodation, day support, advocacy, information and referral services for Vietnam Veterans, however accommodation may also be provided to other homeless single men over 18 years of age, if they are rated compatible by the service provider.

The Centre provides overnight accommodation to single men over 18 years of age. The Centre also provides information, referral and advocacy services and evening meals are available for non-resident men, women and children.
