nt priorities and initiatives

homepage | topics

The priorities and initiatives listed here map out proposed action in the Northern Territory to support the implementation of SAAP IV. Where appropriate, SAAP client groups who will be assisted are identified. The timing for projects is indicative only, however, significant progress on all initiatives is anticipated prior to the mid-term review of the Agreement scheduled for 2003. The identification of key areas of work or priorities for funding comes principally from planning activities undertaken by the Territory Advisory Committee to inform the development of SAAP IV. Consideration of the findings from data and research undertaken in SAAP IV and linkages to Department of Health and Community Services strategic plan are also reflected in the priorities.
