The following attractions are located in close proximity to the Darwin Wharf Precinct but are privately managed.

Indo Pacific Marine - Phone 8981 1294

Located at the base of Stokes Hill Wharf, this exhibition displays coral reef eco-systems that are native to Northern Territory waters and the animals that live there. You can also book reservations for the ‘Coral Reef by Night’ tour. This is an amazing experience where you can feast on a delicious seafood buffet overlooking Darwin harbour before exploring the nocturnal reef life and witnessing the beauty of the fluorescing corals and animals at night.

A museum exploring the fascinating pearling history of Darwin and northern Australia.

WWII Oil Storage Tunnels - Phone 8985 6333

These tunnels were re-opened in 1992 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the bombing of Darwin. Take a self-guided tour through to Stokes Hill Wharf or incorporate a tour with the Tour Tub Darwin City Sights Tour. Open daily 9am-5pm from May to September and Tues-Fri 10am-2pm from October to April. Weekends and public holidays 10am-4pm. Closed 28 Nov-27 Dec, New Years Day and February (Group Tours by appointment during closed period).
