When you find yourself in a port city like Darwin, you just have to go down to the harbour and savour the atmosphere. At the Darwin Wharf Precinct, with its cool sea breezes and spectacular sunsets, there is something for everyone.

With a fine dining restaurant, alfresco eateries, recreational fishing platforms and fishing charters, harbour cruises, sightseeing, shopping and live entertainment, you just can;t leave town without experiencing it.

The precinct is a multi-purpose harbour-side venue located only 5 minutes drive from the Darwin CBD. It is a public area where commercial businesses interact with tourism and recreational services to provide our visitors with a rewarding, entertaining and relaxing time when they arrive.

At the Darwin Wharf Precinct, our responsibilities include managing the retail outlets, eateries and fine-dining restaurant on Stokes Hill Wharf; meeting the needs of recreational fishermen and tour operators; providing tourism-related facilities for visiting cruiseship passengers and naval personnel; marketing the Darwin Wharf Precinct and Function Centre; organising entertainers and co-ordinating annual events; providing tourist and visitor information; maintaining and upgrading the Precinct facilities and implementing on-site security and safety procedures.

At the Darwin Wharf Precinct, our main aim is to provide a diverse range of services, activities and events for a wide variety of people in a friendly, efficient and cost-effective manner.
