CRUISE SHIP FACILITY

Facility Description

This modern facility, situated centrally on Stokes Hill Wharf, was completed in 1999. It is fully air conditioned with high vaulted ceilings and panoramic views over the Darwin Harbour. The main purpose of the facility is to service Cruise Ships, but when not used for this activity it is available to the public as a private function centre.

The building is 1000 square metres, 840 square metres is air conditioned and the verandah deck is 160 square metres.

It is an ideal venue for weddings, celebrating that special occasion, conferences and meetings, trade shows, exhibitions and product launches - there is even a wide enough access door for a four wheel drive to be placed inside the facility. There is adequate easy access for disabled persons and fully equipped toilets in the building.

The building may be sectioned into three main areas, Area A, B or C with the flexibility to suit most types of functions. (See Facility Layout)
