This modern facility, completed in
1999, is centrally situated on Stokes
Hill Wharf. It is fully air-conditioned
with high vaulted ceilings and panoramic
views over Darwin Harbour.
We have been the choice of venue for hundreds of events, ranging from weddings to conferences, ball to fundraisers, Christmas parties and even car shows - there is a wide enough entrance for a four wheel drive to be placed inside the centre.
There is easy access for disabled
persons and fully equipped bathroom
facilities in the building.
The building has 840m² of air-conditioned
indoor area and a 160m² verandah
deck outside, with sails for shade.
The function centre may be sectioned
in to three main areas: Area A (indoor),
Area B (indoor) and Area C (outdoor
verandah deck), with the flexibility
to suit most functions (see facility
layout).
