  • A Sexual Health Youth Education Website - This website has heaps of helpful information for teenagers about sexual health issues.
  • Avert - This lets you read stories of young people who are living with HIV.
  • Carers Australia - Carers Australia's site for young carers, their families and people working with them.
  • Cuz Congress - A cool website managed by the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress. This website lists heaps of health care services and also acts as a gateway for national online and telephone services such as Lifeline, Kids Help Line, Reachout and Healthy Vibes.   • Families Website - Through the Office of Children and Families in the Department of Health and Community Services, Northern Territory families now have access to a parent helpline and family support website.
  • Family Planning Association - This gives you advice on all areas of sexual health and family planning.
  • I stay safe - It's a great website that has been especially designed for teens. It's an interactive webite that lets you be involved in a role-play, as if you were going to see your local doctor for an appointment. It takes you through the sorts of things you will need when going to visit the doctor and the types of questions the doctor will ask you.
  • Shine SA - This website has heaps of different information on sexual health including fact sheets sexual well-being, relationships, teenage pregnancy and much more.
  • Somazone - This website gives you the chance to find out a whole lot more about relationships and sexual issues. As well as this you are able to read other people's personal stories and place your own personal stories on the site confidentially. You can also place questions on the website for everyone else to see about any sexual issue you might have. Again this is done confidentially so no one will know who asked the question. The answer to your question will be posted on the website as well.

  • The International Education and Resource Network is one of the largest global networks that enables young people to use the Internet and other new technologies to take part in collaborative, educational projects that both enhance learning and make a difference in the world.

  • Music NT Inc is a non profit, membership-based contemporary music group - check out what's happening in the music scene around the Territory.

Decision Making

  • Women in Leadership is a key focus of the Office of Women's Policy. The website has a range of information and tools for future women leaders.
  • Streetwize Communications is a leading non profit organisation, specialising in communicating social issues to young people. Streetwize produces publications on issues such as health, law, employment and health.
  • The United Nations Population Fund has created a Youth Advisory Committee to recommend ways of integrating young people into national development plans.
  • Voices of Youth is a website developed by UNICEF. Have a look to see how you can make a difference and get involved!
  • Youth Action Net spotlights the vital role that young people play in leading positive change around the world. This site is a virtual gathering place for young people looking to connect with each other about how to make a difference in their communities.

Safety

  • Building Safer Communities is a web portal for information and tips on how to get involved in crime prevention and community safety.
  • Green Vehicle Guide provides ratings on the environmental performance of new vehicles sold in Australia. You can use this site to see how vehicles compare on greenhouse and air pollution emissions. When buying a new car, use the site to identify the vehicle with the highest ratings which meets your needs.
