Charles See Kee Awards Guidelines
What are the Charles See Kee Awards?
The Charles See Kee Awards, were established by the Northern Territory Government in 2004. The awards recognise and celebrate people, organisations and initiatives that have made a valuable contribution towards the advancement of multiculturalism in the Northern Territory.
The criteria for these awards are deliberately broad because the advancement of multiculturalism in the Northern Territory can be achieved in many ways by individuals, organisations or through specific initiatives.
The Charles See Kee Awards provide an opportunity to showcase and recognise achievements and contributions in promoting our harmonious and multicultural society.
Eligibility
Please note:
- Self nomination by individuals for an individual award will not be accepted.
- Nominations of a person, organisation or initiative who have previously received an award will not be accepted.
- Nominations of organisations that are not ethno-specific for an organisation award will be accepted – however it must be demonstrated that the relevant organisation has met one or more of the criteria and is consistent with the overall aim of the Charles See Kee Awards (ie. to recognise and celebrate people, organisations and initiatives that have made a valuable contribution towards the advancement of multiculturalism in the Northern Territory).
