Contractor Accreditation

Contractor Accreditation Limited (CAL) is a non-profit company established by NT Chamber of Commerce and Industry, NT Small Business Association and the Territory Construction Association to manage a scheme of self regulation for the building and construction industry.

The NT Government has given an undertaking that when inviting tenders for work in a category for which accrediation has been established, and where the value exceeds $50 000, it will only contract with those contractors who have achieved an appropriate rating. Contractors must use appropriately accredited Sub Contractors where the value of sub-contracted work exceeds $50 000.
