Government Procurement Council
The Government Procurement Council (GPC) was established by the Minister responsible for Procurement on 19 May 2003. Its purpose is to enable the private sector to have more involvement in the improvement and effectiveness of Government procurement policy. The GPC advises the Minister responsible for Procurement on:
- Government procurement policies and practices
- Effectiveness of such policies and practices, and
- Implementation of future policies and improvements
