The Local Government Association of the Northern Territory (LGANT) is a peak organisation representing the interests of local government initiatives throughout the Northern Territory. Member organization's include Darwin, Alice Springs town councils as well as remote Community Councils

The Deadly Mob is associated with the Gap Youth Centre Aboriginal Corporation in Alice Springs and provides innovative indigenous youth programs including a web site; field trips to communities including training in Internet use and WEB development. They also provide a career mentoring centre, career guidance/work placement programs and other innovative youth programs.
The Centre for Appropriate Technology
(CAT) is Australia’s national Indigenous science and technology organisation. Since 1980, CAT has been working to increase the access of Indigenous people to a range of services that enable them to live safely and happily in communities, often in remote locations.
Desert Knowledge
The Desert Peoples Centre is a blended tertiary education and training institution, with on-campus facilities in Alice Springs and a network of remote study centres to serve non-urban desert communities. The Centre is to be the Aboriginal desert peoples own place of knowledge in which Aboriginal languages and culture are fundamental in nurturing learning and knowledge sharing
