Apprentices/Trainees

NTG Apprentices: Apprenticeships specifically targeting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Indigenous Cadets

NTG Cadets: The NTPS is offering Cadetships to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to assist them in gaining tertiary qualifications and permanent employment in the NTPS.
Northern Territory Treasury Cadets (Economics): Northern Territory Treasury is an active participant in the National Indigenous Cadetship Project and provides Indigenous Australian students with financial and mentoring support, and work experience throughout their time at university.

Aboriginal Health Care Workers

Aboriginal Care Worker Career Pathway Strategy: The purpose of this strategy is to increase the number of indigenous employees in Family and Children Services, improve their access to outcome based training, and enhance mobility and career prospects.
