The costs involved in becoming a RTO range from registration fees to infrastructure costs and the purchase of training packages and relevant training and assessment resources.

Any organisation applying to become an RTO, renewing registration, extending scope, applying for course accreditation or Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) will need to pay the relevant costs assigned by the national VET regulatory - the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) - as of 1 July 2011.

Information regarding fees and charges are located on the ASQA website.
