​The Northern Territory regulatory role for registered training organisations (RTOs) and accredited courses ceased as at the close of business 30 June 2011. The new national VET regulator, the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), will commence operations on 1 July 2011.

RTOs must apply to ASQA for all regulatory requirements such as registration, scope and accredited courses. Their contact details are:
