Do you know a Territory woman who wants to study a vocational education and training (VET) course that will assist them in returning to work after a period of absence? She may be eligible for a study grant!
To celebrate International Women’s Day, the Department of Business and Employment offers four $1000 study grants to Territory women studying for a VET qualification that will assist them in returning to work after a period of absence.
Applications for the 2012 grants closed on Friday 2 March 2012.
Eligible applicants:
- must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident and must be enrolled in a VET course of study
- must be studying for a first VET qualification
- have not worked in a full-time position in the last five years
- have not worked more than 20 hours per week in the last three months.
