The NT Equity Training Grants program is an initiative of the Northern Territory Government.
The grants provide resources targeted to increase training and employment opportunities for:
- people with a disability
- parents returning to the workforce after an absence of five years or more
- long-term unemployed migrants
- refugees
- mature-aged people/workers
- very long-term unemployed people (VLTU) or those at risk of becoming VLTU.
Grants are designed to improve training and employment outcomes for people from the above target groups in the Northern Territory and will utilise links to existing services and establish partnership/collaborative arrangements with key stakeholders.
Applications for the 2012 grants closed on Friday 16 March 2012.
Who can apply?
Incorporated organisations, registered training organisations and schools. Conditions apply.
