The Department of Business and Employment (DBE) provides Human Resource Services for the Northern Territory Government. Services include payroll, recruitment, occupational, health and safety, and training and employment programs to name a few of our services.

Human Resource Services also manage the personnel information payroll system (PIPS) for government and its web interface 'myHR'. 'myHR' allows employee self service of personnel information and many functions, including electronic lodgement of leave requests, salary history and the ability for staff to access their payslips online.

Providing Training Courses to Government

The Training and Employment Programs (TEP) Unit provides programs and activities that support NT Government initiatives and offers personal development opportunities. The services include a variety of scheduled courses on a NT Government-wide basis and employment programs for apprentices, graduates, indigenous cadets and vacation employment for university students.

Members of the Australian Commonwealth Government and local government are also able to apply for our courses.
