2012 Research & Innovation Grants
The Northern Territory Research and Innovation Board invites applications for the 2012 Research and Innovation Grants.
Any project that demonstrates a benefit to the Northern Territory will be considered.
However, it is essential that applications are of a high standard, with clearly explained objectives, methods and outcomes, and that they support Northern Territory research priorities. Assistance is available with preparing applications if required.
Expressions of Interest and Applications
Expressions of Interests closed on 4 April 2012.
If your Expression of Interest is deemed suitable, you will be invited to submit a full project application. Full applications will open on 27 April 2012 and close 14 May 2012.
Late applications will not be accepted. Please read through the guidelines to ensure you understand how to prepare your application.

Research grants
Do you have a research project that requires funding?
Research grants are available for both collaborative and independent research projects, provided the proposed research meets Northern Territory priorities as outlined in the research grants guidelines.
Innovation grants
Do you have an idea for a new product or service? Do you have a new project or idea but are not sure whether it is viable?
Grow your business through innovation. An innovation grant can assist businesses and individuals develop innovative ideas, products or services. Proof-of-concept grants are also offered in recognition that some research and innovation projects require funding in the initial stages of their development.
