Research and Innovation Grants open

The tenth round of the Northern Territory Research and Innovation Grants is now open.

This year there is a new, streamlined application process. Applicants fill out a simple Expression of Interest form and once reviewed by a panel, successful applicants will be invited to submit a more detailed application.

Research Grants are intended to leverage research dollars into the Territory, by allowing successful applicants to access major grants from the Australian Research Council, the National Health and Medical Research Council and other funding bodies.

Innovation Grants are intended to assist businesses and individuals with developing an innovative product, service, process or other creative idea. They include ‘proof-of-concept’ projects to help them determine the potential for further development and/or social benefit to the Territory.

Expressions of Interest closed 4 April 2012. Those who have been formally invited to submit full applications are required to do so by close of business 14 May 2012.
